Chilean Model 1895 Mauser
Antique Chile Model 1895 Mauser rifle in 7mm with matching numbers #E812 except the cleaning rod. Has an excellent bright bore and a nice receiver crest. Made by Loewe Berlin with some normal handling marks on the walnut stock.
Italian Model 1870/87 Vetterli Vitali
Very good condition antique Italian Model 1870/87 Vetterli Vitali rifle in 10.4 x 47R caliber that was manufactured by Terni Arsenal in 1890, as marked on the barrel. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers including barrel and stock. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Both sides of toe have a hairline crack. Right side buttstock has a sharp clear matching serial number cartouche. Has an incorrect replacement cleaning rod.
Portuguese M/937 Mauser
Good condition WWII Portuguese M/937 (Model 1937) Mauser rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that has a sharp clear Portuguese crest on the receiver ring and Oberndorf manufacturer markings on the side rail. This rifle was manufactured under contract in Third Reich Germany and was essentially a K98k with the addition of bottom band and buttstock sling swivels, and front sight ears. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers except the stock, handguard, follower, triggerguard, and triggerguard screws. Rifle has original blue finish showing some wear. Buttplate is original “in the white”. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Heel has a few chips. Right side buttstock and undersides of wrist and buttstock have faint German Waffenamt cartouches. Has the correct original cleaning rod.
Swedish Model 1896 Mauser
Very good condition Swedish Model 1896 Mauser rifle in 6.5 x 55mm caliber that was manufactured by Carl Gustafs in 1913, as marked on the receiver ring. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of buttstock has a “crown CB” stamp. Right side buttstock has original brass bore condition marking disc. Has the correct original nonmatching numbered cleaning rod.
Japanese Type 38 Arisaka
Good condition pre WWII Japanese Type 38 Arisaka rifle in 6.5 x 50mm caliber that has a full untouched mum on the receiver ring and was manufactured by Tokyo Arsenal without a series marking. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching assembly numbers except the floorplate and bolt. Metal finish is reblued showing some normal wear. Bore is dark and pitted with average worn rifling. Stock has been sanded and refinished and shows some normal handling marks. Front of handguard has a crack. Has the correct original cleaning rod.
German 98k Mauser (byf 44)
Fine condition WWII German 98k Mauser rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that is marked “byf 44” on the receiver ring for manufacture by Oberndorf in 1944. Rifle is NOT import marked and has all matching serial numbers. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Forend has a repaired duffle cut under the rear band. Right side buttstock, underside of buttstock, and underside of wrist have Waffenamt “WaA135” cartouches. Has the correct original cleaning rod and front sight hood.
Inland M1 Carbine
Excellent condition WWII US military M1 Carbine that was manufactured by Inland, as marked on the receiver. Gun is NOT import marked and has all Inland parts. Late adjustable rear sight. Serial number 6288xxx, which dates it to manufacture in the 4th block of Inland production. Metal finish is excellent original gray parkerized. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has original finish and crisp edges with just a few minor handling marks. Left side buttstock has a tiny wood putty repair. Left side of oiler cutout is marked “IO”. Right side buttstock has a sharp clear ordnance wheel cartouche.
Winchester Model 1873
Good condition antique Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle in .44-40 WCF caliber that is serial number 180xxx, which dates it to production in 1884. Mechanically functions fine. Lever screw is a replacement. Metal is worn the white, with some scattered gray and brown patina. 26″ round barrel has original sights. Bore is good with strong rifling and some pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Has an incorrect replacement brass buttplate. Forend cap screws appear to be reproductions.
Colt SP1 AR-15
Very good condition Colt SP1 AR-15 semi auto rifle in .223 caliber that is serial number 16xxx, which dates it to production in 1971. This Curio & Relic eligible example mechanically functions fine and has one original factory 20-round magazine. Metal finish is nice original gray parkerized. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Black plastic stock has no damage.
US Model 1892 Krag
Good condition antique US Model 1892 Krag Jorgensen rifle in .30-40 caliber. Receiver is marked “U.S. / 1894. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. 8849”. Rifle is in all original Model 1892 configuration, never updated to Model 1896. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is good, a little dark, with good rifling that shows some normal wear. Has a dark ring a few inches from the muzzle. Stock has original finish and shows some wear and handling marks. Left side of wrist has a very faint inspector cartouche. Underside of wrist has a very faint “circle P” cartouche. Has the correct original cleaning rod.
Finnish M39 Mosin Nagant
Very good condition WWII Finnish Model 1939 Mosin Nagant rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber that has the Sako Arsenal marking on the barrel and dated 1943. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has matching serial numbers on the barrel and bolt. Floorplate does not match and buttplate is unnumbered. This is common and correct for Finnish Mosin Nagant rifles. Metal finish is nice original blue showing a little normal wear. Bore is good, bright with a little pitting and has good average rifling that shows some normal wear. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Right side of forend has a repaired crack. Right side buttstock has a Sako Arsenal cartouche and an arms depot cartouche. Has the correct original cleaning rod.
Winchester Model 97
Good condition Winchester Model 97 pump action 12 gauge shotgun that is serial number 774xxx, which dates it to manufacture in 1927. Mechanically functions fine. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear and some areas of pitting. 30″ barrel has an about good bore with some pitting. Stock has nice looking finish and may have been refinished long ago. Fitted with a rubber recoil pad.
US Model 1873 Trapdoor Springfield
Very good condition antique US Model 1873 Trapdoor Springfield rifle in 45-70 Government caliber. Lock is marked “U.S. / SPRINGFIELD” with the American eagle. Breech block is marked “MODEL 1873”. Barrel has “VP” and eagle head proof marks. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Bore is good, mostly bright, with strong rifling and a little pitting. Stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side of wrist has a faint inspector cartouche. Rear band is cut for the Buffington rear sight, but rifle has a Model 1879 rear sight. Has the correct original cleaning rod.
Springfield M1 Garand
The elevation knob is a modern reproduction. Very good condition WWII-Korean War US military M1 Garand rifle in .30-06 caliber. Receiver is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” and is serial number 3596xxx, which dates it to manufacture in February 1945. Rifle is NOT import marked and has Springfield op rod, trigger group, and barrel. Barrel is dated “8-52” for August 1952. Rifle has lock bar rear sight. Metal finish is nice original gray parkerized. Bore is very good and bright with strong rifling. Postwar stock has original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Left side of stock has a DOD eagle cartouche below the receiver. Underside of wrist has a “circle P” cartouche. Toe has painted “382”. Left side buttstock is stamped “310”.
Gew 98 Mauser (Polish eagle / FB Radom)
Good condition WWI Imperial German GEW 98 Mauser rifle in 8mm Mauser (7.92 x 57) caliber that was manufactured by Oberndorf in 1912, as marked on the receiver ring. Rifle was reissued to Poland after the war and has the Polish eagle and FB Radom Arsenal “triangle” markings on the receiver ring. Barrel also has Polish markings. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has nonmatching numbers. Metal finish is original blue showing some wear. Bore is dark with worn rifling. Stock has original finish and shows some handling marks and wear. Right side buttstock and undersides of wrist and forend have Weimar era eagle markings. Has the correct original cleaning rod.
